The Projoy PEFS Series 2-String Rapid Shutdown Device (Firefighter Safety Switch) is a compact, level-1 DC safety solution designed to automatically de-energize high-voltage direct current lines between the solar array and the inverter. It isolates up to two photovoltaic (PV) strings directly at the module array level to eliminate electrical hazards for maintenance crews and emergency first responders.
Auto-Reset: When AC power is restored, the unit automatically re-engages and reconnects the PV strings to the inverter without requiring manual rooftop intervention. Thermal Protection: Includes an internal temperature sensor that automatically forces a DC disconnect if internal unit temperatures exceed 85°C.
